  1. Call your Dr to make sure everything it ok. Are you able to keep water done? You shouldn't be getting sick especially dry heaving.
  2. Well, its been one hell of a ride that hasn't stopped yet. I was in 1 hospital for 44 days then transferred to Tampa general hospital for 10 days. Long story short I have a big whole where the esophagus meat the stomach. They put 2 stents in and had to take them out and put feeding tube in. I'm finally home with the feeding tube. I'm not suppose to have ice but I'm so thirsty. Any one else relate? How bad is it?
  3. How long is the surgery? hospital stay and home recovery from Sleeve to Bypass?

  5. its true its a tool and takes a lot of hard work. When you are ready tell or don't. Tell the truth. I'm eating a lot less and sugar free low carbs
  6. update: Not what I wanted but at least there is answer. Sleeved 2.22.19 where esophagus meet sleeve a new pouch is there with no drainage. Stomach pain since March and only got worse. No food in 3 weeks only liquids no medications either. I will find out the game plan on Monday. GI Dr found it. Revision or Bypass?

  9. I have been having a lot of issues for a month know. A lot of stomach pain, heart burn and phlegm. It got to the point on May 1 was no longer able to keep any fluids down and forget food. I was admitted in the Hospital out of state for 4 days. They did an EDG Scoop the esophagus is really swelled and they did biopsy. I have Barrett's. I'm will get the results on Monday. I have flown home to get this taken care of. My chest feels like some one is cracking my ribs. I can know keep ice chips down, sugar free popsicle (very slowly) and the most important medicine. The worse of it all is that I wake up choking on my stomach fluids. I have lost 17lbs in 11 days. (which is great but not how I want it.
  10. I chew a lot so I know its not from chewing enough or eat to fast. The slimes are really bad it doesn't matter it happens after one swallow.
  11. I had the sleeve done on February 22 of this year. I have had stomach pain on and off but nothing major. They said I have hematomas and the are getting smaller. I did have a small kidney stone which I think it has passed but I think I have a new one. For the last 8 days I have been having issues with keep solid food down. The surgeon said to go on liquids for a week. I go to the Urologist on Monday to see if that could be causing my issues? (pee blood) I have a lot of phlegm no matter what I eat or drink. Any one have any ideas or had the same issue? Help? I'm going on vacation on Wednesday for 2 weeks. Hope it wont be all liquids the whole time.
  12. I have never been a person who goes regular but I have gone several times and still have stomach pain. Its been going on for a little over 3 weeks. Still waiting on the authorization to get it scan done. Any suggestions on what is causing it appreciated. I'm so over it
  13. I had the sleeve removed also due to it grew into my stomach. I got the sleeve on Feb 22, 2019. I have been happy with my progress. I did have a stall for about 5 days but I just started eating real food and carb which I know better. I have loss 2.5lbs in 3 days since the stall. You need to talk to your Dr and see what they think will be your best option.
  14. 8lbs in 15 days is pretty good. I'm have pain in my stomach too which I have told been telling my Dr. He has finally is setting up to have a CT Scan with contrast. I thought at first I pulled a muscle but it has been 3 weeks. Call your Dr. Let me know what you find out
  15. Back at the Dr this morning. My stomach is killing me. Not able to sleep on my side. Waiting on Authorization for ct scan with dye. Hope it doesn't take too long.

  17. I'm so happy everything is fine. I'm a slow healer. The Fat hernia and chronic hematomas is nothing to worry about. He recommend cortisone cream for my stomach.
  18. Off to the Dr. today. Stomach pain is getting worse and one of my scar from a different surgery looks black. So will see what's going on. I had a CT Scan done and it showed a small kidney stone, ventral fat-containing incisional hernia and chronic hematomas. Any one else have this happen to them?
  19. I'm so happy! 3 week post opt and today was the 1st day I was able to take all my medication with out any problems. It took a while but I did it. All 10 of them. Its a good day. It was really hard with one medication that I have to take 2 a day but not no more. I tried liquid but they where nasty.

  21. I talked to my Dr today and told them that its soar all around my bell button even to the touch. Also that one of the scab starts healing then it falls off and it is green underneath . The Dr they said to keep an eye on scab that wont heal and if I get a fever to let them right away. Going to move up my follow up appointment.

  24. I'm 3 weeks post opt and for some reason the last 2 days my stomach hurts in the middle of my stomach and sensitive to the touch. Any reason why its hurting know? Its all around my bell button.
