1>8>3>4>6.

I think I hit a turning point last night after smashing my phone screen to smithereens and nearly slicing off my own fingerprints. Just... FINE. Now I’m rolling into the weekend with a solid 2 hours of drinking coffee while sitting in a swivel armchair staring out the window at birds and listening to yoga music.

Amazon is delivering a ton of bath stuff tomorrow, and I’m going to make chutney this weekend and eat it on a tiny grilled cheese. I have a plan. Monday things can wait for Monday.

I spend too much time on the internet, because this is what immediately popped into my head

I’m at about a 5. Came home from father-in-laws family reunion in Southern Arkansas on Monday. My souvenir from the trip is a pretty solid head cold that is hopefully peaking today. Work has been nutso since I returned and I’m PMSing which means everything and anything is testing my patience.

Husband is out with friends tonight and I’m relaxing at home, so I’d say we’re up to a 6.5.

The silver lining is that I don’t get sick that often these days and it usually blows over quickly now. One of the perks of now being a non smoker and taking a boat load of Vitamins. 😂

Is it just me, or is that gerbil practicing mindful eating?

Also while I promise not to make a grilled cheese and chutney the size of my own head, I cannot promise I will chew each bite 20 times, or that I will limit myself to a few bites and then throw the rest away (or cast it directly onto the floor). So that is PARTIALLY me this weekend, but not completely. Also the rodent has no wine. Rookie mistake, rodent.

Hahaha! ^^ I keep stevia in my purse! I have the green and white bottle of stevita. Yeah, it's plastic and don't think it's organic but it travels well. :) Now I always am prepared for himself's coffee and my decaff iced tea!!! (You'll look like a doll in your dress! I have no doubts! But pics or it didn't happen!!! :D )

Hahaha i have no stevia that will travel well in tiny wedding purses so im leaving them behind. I think this is the outfit I'll wear unless something changes

It's a small top and an old size 12 formal skirt (when they meant it... None of this vanity sizing nonsense because it feels like a 6/8) so i can't gain an oz lol

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
