Thank you everyone for all of your suggestions and encouragement!!!!! I took a bit of advice from each one of you and things are finally on the move, since Tuesday of this week I have lost 4 lbs. I too believe I am carb sensitive, I have limited carbs to about 40-45G a day. I am also eating more calories. I am 5'8" so I don't think I was eating enough consuming only 750-780 calories a day, now I am consuming about 1000. I am still working out every day, but to see the scale move (down) for the time in a month, has lifted my spirits again!

Wow, 4lbs that is wonderful! It is great that the suggestions are successful for you.

I don't know how you eat 1000 calories. I'm about 6 weeks post-op there are some days where I have trouble getting in 600-700!!

But some people don't need that much, obviously I do. I added Snacks like pumpkin seeds or Turkey Jerky and I'll have a shake around 4 if I am not near my Protein goal, that's added calories as well.

As far as how much to expect to lose in the first 30 days, it's so different from person to person. Plus, you will have stalls. It took about a year for me to lose about 130. Then I slowly lost the rest, and now I've been maintaining about 155 pounds lost for a year, and now recently I've lost about another 5 pounds. I do notice the more Protein I eat and drink more Water, the more weight I lose.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
