Post Op Bra Size

Recommended Posts

Can I just say I never thought I’d be going from a 38G to a 32D? 32 band size, what? 😳

But rant wise, I’ve gone through 4 sets of bras since starting this journey 9 months ago. I just bought 3 new ones in the hopes the girls are done shrinking at 5lbs from goal 🤞 But when the bra gap game gets too strong...gotta cave and shop!

Anyone else enjoying the shelling out for new bras every 2 months or so? 😂

I went from a 44H to a 38DD!

I am satisfied with buying less expensive bras at $10 from Walmart or wherever vs $60 from Lane Bryant. When im finally at my stable size I'll get fancier lol and buy from Victoria's Secret.

Yes! First I bought one at a time of whatever new size, then I went to JCPenny and got 2/$20 on their sales. Just got these 3 from VS and man I hope I don’t regret it 😂

I tried on a few from VS and they seem forgiving and sturdy so you shouldn't have a problem even if you lose a few extra lbs

I was kind of hoping I could cheap out with sports bras for a while, that they might be a little more forgiving if I misjudge the cup size or something while I'm losing. No? Is that not a thing?

My sports bras rubbed my incision. I wore no bra until I went back to work 3 weeks post op

I went from 42DD --> 38D --> 36C??

At first I was excited I could fit into my "special occasion" bras without the extender. But now I no longer fill up the cup :(.

Currently in a 38D, but bra gap game is getting strong , so I'll have to move down soon, 36C I'm guessing?

I've gone from a 40H @ 377, then at the time of my surgery I was a 40G, for a while I after I was a 38F but now my back shrunk and I am a 36F. I have major droopage so I need really good bras to keep them perky--$60 a pop at least. So yeah, very sick of the new bras---if my cup size goes down again I may stuff them!!

I have this issue as well. I went from a 42DD to now a 34D. I am sure it will go down even more. I am horrible and get all my bras from VS. It is the one thing I will spend money on.

I went from a 40D to 34B. I’m very happy with my size and shape, and am below goal right now.

Preop the largest bras I bought were 42D and 40DD. I am currently wearing a 38D on the smallest hook so band size is going down. I buy all my bras from Soma since I just love their brand. They are expensive ($40-$60 range) but they are always sending coupons and I try to buy during clearance sales. I currently have 2 that I just totally missed the window on wearing that are new with tags so I will be selling them on eBay. Right now I wear Shapewear type tank tops more than actual bras since I am home most of the time. Since I still have a ways to go I expect to wind up at 36B or C which was my size for most of my normal weight years. Not planning a lift or implants.

This is something I've been looking forward to as soon as I decided on surgery. Losing boobs. I've been big chested since middle school and I'm sitting at a 46G right now. Please Lord take some away! [emoji16][emoji16]

Started at a 48DD, now wearing 42DD. I try to hit up sales. I’ve been in the 42DD for a little over a month. Only the leisure one is getting too big. But yeah- bras are super expensive. Especially when you have a larger cup and can’t settle for a lot of the cheap brands, as they lack the structure you need!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
