Let me tell you this. The doctors are going to PUSH to get you out of there in one day but speak up if you don't feel comfortable leaving the day after surgery. I was hesitant to go home so soon and my Dad told me to be honest and tell them I wasn't ready and I'm glad I did. I barely even remember that day after surgery and don't think I would have been comfortable at home.
