Intermittent Fasting Daily Menu/Results/Accountability

Goal range achieved. At 1yr post op appt today, my Surgical PA told me that I'm at goal, currently 156lbs BMI of 27.

He said that at my current BMI range 25-27, studies show that people live longer than those below a BMI of 25. Happy to hear it because I'll likely never get that low, lol.😎

We also discussed IF and he completely agreed with it's usefulness and said when he considers ancient/Paleo/human that was probably closer to the natural pattern and no one needs to eat all day long. I agree. He warned against the extremes for our population however, so no week long Water fasts... As if lol!

My diet and IF regime will remain the same. I like it and I'm happy to have found something flexible and sustainable.

I'm adding a photo because I'm proud, don't judge me 😂😂😂

I don't need courage, I need a flat tummy, non saggy thighs .... sigh!

Continuing the theme of posting my "bad" meals here, and my "good" meals on the Before and After thread, as to try to limit my corrupting influence (we are all too far gone here for me to worry about :Pj)

Various crap at an airport lounge

Mini brat in a pretzel bun, chicken nuggets on top of buffalo sauce, steamed carrots, cheese ravioli in marinara

@GreenTealael, this lounge was far less fancy than the last!

I seem to have a lot more capacity w soft food, than dense Protein. I know that is normal, but pretty new for me, when I didn't have a lot of sliders up until recently

Hello!

Awfully quiet in here ..

Well, I have fantastic news! Despite eating like crap for an entire work week .... the scale was down. It was down both Saturday morning and this morning!

So, I'm excited to think maybe, just maybe, maintenance won't be so terribly difficult, when I get there? :)

Yay! That's great news!!! Maintenance should be a breeze for you and that petite sleeve lol 😂😂😂😂

I have no news to report, I expect to bounce up, Aunt Flo in a week or so and the eating to reflect it will begin soon. But I'm ready for this, of course I won't know an actual weight so that makes me happy too lol. I will keep going steadily with IF but I need to hit the gym a lot more regularly for that little gold dress to look really good. 😎

I spend most of my time drinking tea (instead of eating I suppose) And my moniker and name is Tea, the tag says you+tea were meant to be, naturally I agree. Lol

Good morning dearies!! Sorry to be MIA--Mr. Fs BD roadtrip (which is much better than a VD roadtrip. LOL). Great reports all--will be back later to post. Am out the door to the doc to check on some tummy issues I'm having.

(Oh and I found the lbs kitty escaped. 🤨😟

And it has begun. I walked a steep @$$ hill in the pouring rain to get chicken tenders...

Welcome to hell week. I'm prepared. I did walk and eat so there's exercise involved at least

But IF is still in full effect and all previous meals were just plants tbh because I need to grocery shop.

How's everyone doing?

12 lbs from my original "dream" goal. 28 day to lost 12 lbs to meet my dream goal on/before my 20th wedding anniversary and 40th birthday... so damn close it's just mind blowing!

I have to think IF for getting me this far this fast... yes the surgery is helping, but it's IF that's made it work to the best of it's ability.

@GreenTealael Just me, and maybe a slippery slope for you, but if these chickie fingers were worth walking uphill both ways through the rain while PMSing, you TOTALLY deserved to have them. :D ;) Sorry you're going through hell week! But we know you will make it great with the IF helping out! Woot! Congrats on reaching your weight range!!!!

@Matt Z Wahhhhooooo congrats big time on being 12 lbs from your big goal!!! I really believe you can still pull out a victory in 28 days!!! That's less than a 1/2lb per day and you're a dude! You go, man!!!! Dooooooo eeeettttt!!!

@sillykitty Yiiiiipppppeeeeeee!!! So happy you got through your business trip without a gain--with a loss! Even better!!! That's outstanding. Are you now on your vacation yet?? Can't wait for piccys on that and to hear how you're doing!

To all the other little friends who hang with us, come on out and play!!! Start IFing with us. We want to hear from you even if you'r not IFing!!!

***

Ok, so I haven't IF'd since last week. I did some loose 14:10's but that's about all I can claim. I did a 16:8 yesterday. I came back up at 157.8lb, but today I'm 156lbs, so who know where it will settle out. I have bad lymphedema going in my arm. Meh. It happens on every trip. No worries.

I also may have some gallbladder or some kind of issue. Don't know what it is yet, so am not gonna waller on about it and yammer, cuz it's probably just an irritated esophagus. No big whoop--no carryin' on or attention-seeking needed. Will let you know as I have test results if it turns into anything. I'm sure it won't. It never does. :)

I'm doing a 24hour IF tomorrow with Mr. F. :) I may try to parlay it into a 36 or 42 hour fast. It should be relatively easy...except I ate ALL. THE. food. in Kerrville and Fredericksburg this weekend. They are flat out of food. The end. :D

Cheesy poofs should be considered a Protein. If the world was perfect. Just saying.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
