Losing just me... there are days like that. When I started running I ran for 30 seconds and walked for... I don't know 5 minutes... it took me three months before I could really increase my run time. After years of abuse to my body, I needed to give it time to adapt. It was tough though!!!

I had a great run this morning btw... 5 km in 26 minutes!!! Which is a pace of 5:11 a km... Yep I am Canadian can you tell. BTW I lived in Toronto for years!!!

**sigh** i know, Dawn. it's just so frustrating!!! grrrrr!!!

i am going to the park today and test it again. i figure if im not running much, i can run back to back days.

congrats on that wonderful run! 26 mins!!! wow!! i am in complete awe of you!!

Tor-AHN-TOE, eh? i loved living there... well, except the frigid temps!!!

You can do it! Think how far you have come. Also, if you been able to do it once you can do it again - just keep repeating each week until it is no problem for you!

yeah, i love it.

one thing i've found though - if i am going to run, it has to be in the morning. the afternoon i can barely get 90 seconds. bizarre!!

27 days left and i really need to kick it in gear. having my plastics so late in February (the 29th) really put a damper on my training. soooo, this week im going to walk M, W, F for a mile or two and Saturday i'm goign to try for 3-4 and see how i feel.

the only bad thing is that i still swell so horribly when i am active. but it's just something i have to deal with, right??

HEy Lady...good luck...i got a run this weekend in Osh Kosh.. Half Marathon but i picked the 5k! In June im doing a 10k.

Ive done a 10k on the treadmill before and im doing about 3 5k's a week but i wanted to break in easy.

Keep trainning.

just under 6 miles (5.96 - i had to calibrate my Nike+ for .25 miles)

loved it! i had DH drop me off at the gym and while he worked out, i walked home.

below is my print out from Nike+. its actually accurate...

Edited by losingjusme

The Nike+ is pretty accurate when you are not on a treadmill. Doing well LJM! You excited about the MM?
