In don’t really go out of my way to meet any Protein goals anymore, but its Actually its quite easy to get it in for me… my share of that particular packed salad had 29g of Protein (mostly from the chicken and cheese). That particular day i ended up with 93g of protein by bedtime (i had meatballs for dinner that night)

I did a quick look into MFP to see where i stood on protein for the last little while and it showed:

2 weeks ago: 530g (Avg 75g/day)

3 weeks ago: 836g (Avg 119g/day)

4 weeks ago: 489g (Avg 69g/day)

*no complete weekly info this week or last cuz i was out of town and wasn’t logging.

Gotcha, well you are making salads right. They all always look so delicious too!

I just can't wait to eat salads again.

Just made a salad, but now don’t feel like eating it, so am gonna have a peice of my NEW favourite Lindt Lindor Truffle flavour instead: PISTACHIO! (It used to be Hazelnut 😉)

78 calories of deliciousness.

P.S. will attempt to eat the salad later unless someone gets to it first !

The salad i made yesterday that i added some avocado to: 410 calories (remember people, if u want to up calories “healthily “, chow down on some avocados…calories made up almost 1/2 of this thing!)

Ate about 1/3 at first attempt…rest in the fridge for later.

In case anyone is actually wondering what happened to those blueberry lemon cheesecake tarts I made for my trip to make final arrangements for my dad.

Ah, the “perks” of traveling with a child with ADHD. I’ll have to remake them because siblings were looking forward to them and no one got any.

Anyway, food choice have been poor lately but one day at a time. I promise to eat a vegetable today.

I’m too… all the things to cook so Chinese takeaway it is.

It was pretty greasy this time but at least there were vegetables.

Oh no! 😱 But the risk of travelling with any child I think. Spent the day driving about shopping with my sister-in-law last week & discovered very strange stains & remains on the seat of my trousers when I got home. After school & travelling snack leftovers I think. 😁

Congrats on eating almost all those vegetables too. 😉

Years ago I was stuck at an airport and tried these. I don't usually like sweets but love chips and was apprehensive. Omg, it was so good lol. The salty and sweet were perfectly balanced.

Tonight’s kid friendly dinner- Tomato rice (it’s basically lazy risotto- washed rice in the rice cooker with Water to your first knuckle, a couple spoons of minced garlic, a pint cherry tomatoes, a couple heavy pinches of salt. When cooked stir in shredded Parmesan and either 1/2 cup milk or heavy cream and more water if needed) and Caesar salad.

I basically just pushed around the tomato rice after eating a few bites.

Breakfast! Like actual, REAL Breakfast at an ACTUAL breakfast-y TIME with breakfast-y FOOD!

I have always admired those smoothie/yogurt bowls people come up with on Instagram (an example of one at the very bottom of this post…NOT MINE, just one i aspire to, lol).

Here was my attempt at it this morning. Obviously i need more varied ingredients, and better plating skills…🤷🏻‍♀️

Still good though, ate it all for 312 cals.

MINE:

Do y’all get in ruts with food? I’ve had the same thing for lunch every day for a week. Still enjoying it though! Deli turkey wrap made with a carb balance tortilla, turkey, light cream cheese, and a sprinkle of everything but the bagel seasoning.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
