doctors in malaysia...or even asia?

Recently moved from Texas to Kuala Lumpur...have had one appointment with surgeon here who is happy to do my lap band. He's only done 15 of them and that makes me a bit nervous. He is the only surgeon I've been able to find that does them at all (I did find one who wanted me to be his FIRST!!!)...

With the exception of traveling, any ideas?

thanks...i finally figured out i could do a search on here and got some good info. via old posts that has been helpful.

sorry to re-post the asia question. i see that other folks have already asked about it.

still working on finding the right dr. the one i have met with has very limited experience and that freaks me out. i think i might jet over to singapore to see the dr. there that everyone talks about.

I would suggest looking for a doctor that has done at least 250 bands. But, that is merely my opinion.
