Oh you are so lucky!!!! I've nearly finished my 3rd week and only 1 week left:whoo:

I will even be glad to go onto fluids after the op - at least I will be able to chose what I drink - that's the hardest part - no choice. Good luck.

Danna:hungry:

Please add me. Day one of pre-op diet....I keep telling myself it will all be worth it. I can do ANYTHING for two weeks. My surgery date is Dec. 6th.

Someone needs to update the list for the next week. I'm leaving for an 8-day cruise in the morning. Luckily, I only have to do a 2-day pre-op clear liquid diet. I have been so busy I haven't had time to think about surgery and I can't think of a better way to spend my last 8 days of normal eating than a cruise. I do plan to watch the calories and hold the weight to 0-4 pounds. I actually lost on a cruise back in February.

Everyone take care and I'll catch up when I get back home.

Sghatl - Have a wonderful time on the cruise and thanks for keeping up with the dates. I would offer to fill in although I dont really know if I would screw it up. I am sure there is someone who is a better option than me. If I see that it is falling behind... I will give it a shot :)

To all Merry Losers - Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Got thru the Pre Op diet on turkey day and it really was not to bad. Nothing like not being able to eat what you want on the best food spread day of the year.....especially being a FOOD ADDICT!!!! But, truthfully... it was not sooooo bad.

How are you all that have started Pre Op if you have one??

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!
