June 2018 losers bench

I had my surgery 6/5 and I feel good so far! My highest recorded weight was 256.12 lbs. The day of surgery after following the 10-day liquid diet I was down 13.8lbs. I was diagnosed with NALDS last fall. Hopefully The RNY will help me with my other commobidities. Please share your journey on this thread with words of encouragement and support.

I’m RNY June 07

HW 280 CW 242 ?

I can’t wait until I can start seeing the differences even more to me there aren’t as noticeable right now.

Ya'll are doing amazing at 40+ pounds lost. WAHOOOO! I felt really good this past weekend and the puree stage is really helping me feel satisfied. I'm 4 weeks post-op today and down 30 lbs. That does include a 12 lb. loss on my pre-op diet. I'm super happy! I'm wearing a long dress today to work and just bent down with ease to pick up some leaves that fell off a floral arrangement. I didn't even think twice about bending down. When I was down there, I smiled to myself. NSV!

That’s awesome you’re making great progress as well. I’m on the mush stage but I’m so terrified to try new things ?. Those NSV are the best though I no longer get out of breath just walking up the stairs at work

I had surgery June 1st, 2018. I had the RNY. It's going well so far. No complications. Just need to remember to drink lots of water.

Hi everyone I had my sleeve done 6/19. So far I’m down 21 lbs. and 40 lbs from my highest weight. I was doing great until 2 weeks ago when I was in the hospital trying to pass a large kidney stone, which I have finally passed and am getting back to normal. No more pain...what a relief! I have my 6week follow up next Thursday and then back to work.
  • 8 months later...

I’m coming up to my anniversary and am 6kg from goal. Easter has been a bit chocolaty but I’m confident I’ll get to goal by the 12 month mark.

My health has improved, I have more energy and am even going to the gym.

Hope you are all doing well
