Throwing Up acid and small amount of blood 2 days post op!

Anyone experience this issue before. I can’t keep fluids down. My doctor said to go to the ER if I can’t keep fluids down last tonight.

ER sounds like a great idea. Not keeping fluids down implies some sort of blockage, and blood coming out of places it shouldn't be coming out of is never a good thing.

Yea that’s what I’m thinking ?
@gully90 Hi. Was wanting to check on you. Hope you’re feeling better!

Checking in, are you ok? Someone else had the spitting up blood issue and had a loose or missing staple so please have it checked out if you already haven't.

Maybe I'm wrong but post-surgery acid and blood to me is Hello What's Going On? to me. Have it checked out, if I'm wrong you have permission to say Nah Nah Nah to me, okay?

I threw up blood the day after surgery. Called my Doc and he said if it happened more than once that I should come in. Luckily, it didn't happen again.

No blood but definitely gagging and stomach acid. My doctor said it was normal because of the pressure inside smaller stomach. Hope you feel better.

I don’t have staples but I think it may have come from my esophagus. Especially since I could not hold any liquids down.
