I use a Protein chocolate powder called Body Fortress, whey Protein. It has 60 grams of of protein per scoop.

Wow! 60? How’s it taste?

Walmart now has an Equate brand available it's less than 6.00 and 30 grams per drink. It's not too bad

I really like Terra’s whey bourbon vanilla- it has a lovely fresh taste to it and it’s sweetened with stevia - goes well with fruit

They have it in chocolate, vanilla and Caramel. I've only tried the chocolate but for under six bucks it's not bad. Just wanted to tell you when you do see it grab what you can because they don't seem to last long on the shelves! I also get the Premier Protien bars Peanut Butter chocolate ones. They're great 30 grams of Protein and they help my calorie intake. I'm just under 7 months out and when I'm calorie deficient I get a little weak hear and there so they're a great add.
Genepro from GNC also helps on the days I'm sick of pre-made drinks. It can be added to anything. It's flavorless and I've used it in broths and other things.

I can’t stand muscle milk. I feel the same about it as you do. I like Premier Protein clear with some crystal light in it.
the premier Protein Shakes are good, I just don’t like the chocolate based ones.

Where do you buy the Protein Clear?

I like Muscle Milk too, but yes the chocolate is just tooo much - so I mix it with vanilla or just regular milk.

I have started sampling some Protein here and there and just tried chocolate muscle milk today. I read really good things about it. I found it to be HORRIBLY thick amd sweet even over ice. Is this the normal consistency of the chocolate Protein Shakes or is it just this brand?

I loved regular muscle milk before surgery. But after, there were too many calories and carbs in the regular, so I tried the light version. OMG, it was like drinking watered down skim milk. It was disgusting. So if the regular muscle milk is overbearing for you, you actually might like the light.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
