I've heard other people used it and have had great results too.

I did tons of research on telogen effluvium and hairloss regrowth and this one was promising , im not out of the woods yet but im hopeful that this is helping minimize loss (and prayer) so i tell everyone i can.

I started shedding more than normal a couple of weeks ago, at 3 months post op. I take a good Multivitamin, Biotin and adequate Protein, but still started losing my hair unfortunately.

This might be off but I have not had my surgery yet but I have crohns and with this we go through periods of Hair loss as well. It happens with flares I started to take a thyroid supplement postassium iodian and it stopped within a month. I also use monta now and have tons of new growth. Monta is a Shampoo just cost a arm and a leg. I have not had new growth since I was 20 years old. I do not sell monta shampoo I buy from a friend of mine. I been amazed on my body and growth and the fact my hair dose not fall out. I am going to go back on the potassium iodine after surgery to help thyroid support. (I stopped taking it when my hair stopped falling out). With IBD it falls out with flares.

I have hypothyroidism and take Synthroid daily. Sometimes with thyroid disease, you suffer from Hair loss. I've been blessed.

I'm coming up on 6 months out and haven't had any Hair loss. My nutritionist felt like I probably wouldn't because I hit all of the goals (fluid, Protein, taking vitamins) the whole time so far without missing anything more than a couple Calcium pills. Hair growth is normal, the only issue I did have was cracking nails so I took Biotin (starting a month ago) and that helped with the nails. Hopefully the good luck continues!

I had my surgery May 8th. I have not had issues with Hair loss. (Knock on wood) I get between 60 & 75 grams of Protein with my Protein Shakes.

I (like lots of others) thought the Hair loss was something that happened right after surgery. Breathed a sigh of relief that I'd dodged it after 3 months and no loss. Within the last few weeks though, my hair has started to come out. Whahah. :) It isn't awful though and I don't expect to be bald or anything. No one else even notices- it's all between me and the bathroom sink. Well. All of you now too. I've seen Biotin and l-lysine mentioned here, but I also remember my nutritionist mentioning eating zinc rich foods as well to help.

I lost a lot of hair, but since I have seriously thick hair I didn’t worry. It is growing back in now.
A friend of mine was not so lucky but hers is growing back nicely too

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
