  5. Doing good I am only 15 pounds away from where doctors want me to be done losing. I have had a set back these last 8 weeks with foot surgery. I am starting back to gym now but have to be careful since I am very unbalanced. I started my journey at 250 and went into surgery at 221 I am 158 now and docs want me at 145. I just need to tone my body now. I was sleeved on 5/29
  6. I was sleeved on May 29 my I am 5’9 highest weight was 300 but started this journey at 250 my surgery weight is 221 current weight 175 goal weight is 150. I have not been able to work out yet do to foot injury which I just had surgery to fix it
  7. I was told u just loose skin so u should lose cup size as long as u have Breast tissue. They separate the two tissues push your breast tissue up they never remove any of your breast tissue. Then they remove the skin. So it is all based on how much breast tissue u have
  8. I am 5’9 and started at 250 I had the sleeve and this is a tool u still have to change your lifestyle. I had my surgery on 5/29/2018 I went in at 221 I lost weight prior since it was a 6 month process I am now 194. I do not regret it. I do work out twice a day and eat right I am about off my BP medication and I feel great. My husband was not supportive and I told him to bit me I had to recover and everything by myself. But I love my tool
  9. Do it anyways it’s not about her it’s about u. It’s a control thing when people don’t support u. My husband didn’t and told him to get over it I am doing it anyways he was afraid I leave if I was skinny
  10. Part of many sites and this is normal 4 weeks out and my surgeon says it’s normal 4 weeks out not much u calories u can get on baby food. He only wants u at 600 -700 cal. Until u hit a year which will be easier when u can have higher calories foods when ur stomach heals. My nutritionist says the same. So don’t bad mouth me when I following my surgeon recommended plan to a T to ensure I don’t eat through my stomach. I also have crohns and can have major tears in my stomach from my he healing process. But every person I know 4 weeks out try’s just to get there protein in and I do get 100g a day through genpro. I take my vitamins I do everything to a T. And if u go to the support groups they will tell her she eating to much for 4 weeks out. I am not allowed to touch a nut tell 8 weeks

  13. Add genpro to a apple sauce or sugar free pudding. It is 30 grams of protein. U should only be eating 1/4 a cup to 1/2 a cup per serving (that is ur whole meal. I can only get 1/4 down. I do not get my protein in by meats only by genpro I can not eat enough. If u feel thirsty while eating u are full throw the stuff out. My snacks are the apple sauce and sugar free pudding with the genpro. Like I said I get 400 calories a day. A 1000 calories is for someone trying to sustain there weight
  14. Wow 4 weeks out and 1000 calories I can barely get 400. You are eating way to much.
  15. My weight goes up and down do to autoimmune and they will not do it with low BMI without other health conditions I have really bad High blood pressure I did even when I weighed 170 FYI I way 200 now
  16. When I saw my surgeon the first time my BMI was 36 when I went in for surgery it was 31. I was sleeved on 5/29 my BMI now is 29. I feel I work hard and weight loss is not like others. I had mine done on a Army installation and my surgeon was stunned at my size at follow up. I reminded him I lost about 30 pounds prior to surgery.

  19. My surgery was on May 29 and I have only lost 10 pounds as well but I have also lost 10 inches just remember it’s not all about the scale
  20. This makes me happy. I am 5’9 my surgery weight was 221 I worry my weight loss would be slower because of the lower BMI
  21. Have u found the app fooducate yet? It rates ur food and if it is a bad food gives u a substitute to replace it with
  22. Many husbands are insecure on there wives loosing weight because they feel you will leave if ur skin. What they don’t realize is that it’s there actions that make us leave. I went through this when I lost my weight naturally I lost 100 pounds and my marriage was very rocky until he got a lot more sex and he was happy. He will belittle you make u feel horrible to try to make u fail and unhappy. I highly recommend marriage counseling because he can be part of the food problem.
  23. If u ever look at most people meal plans once they can eat normal that is why they do not lose weight. I been YouTubeing people meals and I am stunned. Even though there might be high protein in certain meats (one girl had sausage) they are high in fat. They also adding whipped cream to everything they can. This is why u don’t see the loss. The ones I have seen lose 100 under 300 are eating fish chicken turkey and veggies. Putting healthy fats in there diet. And keeping up with the exercise routine with lots of weight training. The others just walk.
