I'm almost 3 weeks post sleeve. My recovery seems to be good in that I'm already eating solids and they don't feel any different than soups or purees. The problem is I can literally eat two bites of something before it becomes painful. I'm chewing lots and eating so slowly that I have to reheat every meal but I go from really really hungry before eating, straight to so full I feel like I might burst and I have to sit still for almost an hour. It feels like the food is stuck in my chest almost, and when it reaches my stomach it's just like waves of pain. This even happens with soup. I'm not struggling to drink my water and I'm getting about 1.5-2 litres a day.
My main frustration now is I haven't lost any weight in over a week. I think im eating about 600 calories a day but i cant eat anymore with how uncomfortable eating makes me. I've been reading about stalls but I've tried eating more carbs etc and nothing is working. I know I'm early days still but I'm losing heart, it's very frustrating.
