Maybe if you had flirted back... :crying:

ROFLMBO...maybe I should have tried that!

that's a great nsv - !!!! or at least i'd count it as such!!!!!:smile2:

I definately count it as an NSV...it never hurts to have somebody find you attractive!

Put in two applications for other jobs this morning, already heard back from one that my resume has been forwarded to the hiring manager. That's good news - I've passed the initial screening...hopefully I'll hear more as time goes on...but so far it sounds promising!

- but didn't make paying the $20 lost id fee any more fun!

They make you pay for a lost badge?! That sucks.

Btw, I was away from my computer for most of Sunday and Monday. Anyone miss me? :crying:

*raises hand* I DID! I DID!

Were you at least out having fun? Running super-marathons? Swimming English channels? Scaling huge mountains?

There are several possibilities, and with me getting my Associates in July, even more will open up. The most promising one so far is in the Film Studies department

Wow, that sounds like a cool job!!

BG-----we refer to those canoe type of women as "ankles"......3 feet LOWER than your _unt word.......

Hahaha....that's funny!!

I'm having trouble at work too. I don't like to talk about work in public though. You never know who is reading.

Well that's the truth....I'm in fact being paid by your boss to report your online conversations.

pjtp - hi... :)

Howdy stranger!

Well, I have lived in places where not only would it rain all Saturday, but all week...for several weeks at a time...I have lived in the nicest places, yes??

Man, that's SOME karma ya got going on there, tap.

going on vacation at the end of the week with DH to a pilot's gathering in Arkansas - hotter 'n Hades down there, but the people are great and the event is always fun. We're planning crazy outfits for a 70's night - I'll see if I can get decent pics and maybe post a few when we return.

Actually it's been fantastic weather in this area lately! Quite chilly for May in the early mornings, warming nicely in the afternoons......beautiful!

Got in a little late, then had to go to the ID office to get another. The guy at the desk was flirting relentlessly - not offensively, but in a funny way. Made me smile - but didn't make paying the $20 lost id fee any more fun! .

Should've showed your boobs. That always works for me.

Ooh - that's good to know. Usually I pack everything in my closet for the just in case stuff, but since I've lost a couple of sizes, I'm short on just in case stuff. I'm going to end up bringing some of my more casual work clothes, cause that's all I've bought lately!

Should've showed your boobs. That always works for me.

No comment on the man boobs, Plain...but since I still wear a 38J (down from an H) I didn't want to *ahem* overwhelm the poor man, so I spared him...ya gotta be certified to handle these!

So far, my DH is the only one that's proven he can handle the job...

I was visiting my mom. We did go to the fitness center at the hotel but mostly we went shopping.

I got this awesome faux leather jacket and a very pretty and slightly sexy dress at Nordstrom's Rack.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
