reason my flower beds are rock gardens & have a green house:)

That's what I want my garden to be. The only reason I haven't done it is DS. I can see the broken windows from him throwing my "garden" at things. :sneaky:

send labs to SNT - they are the BEST digging to china worker bees EVER.

But will they dig on command??? If so, I was planning on building some new beds this fall, and need the sod removed and the earth dug about 18"...what's the rate you pimp them for?

That's it for me people. 'Tis time I went to bed. Tomorrow will be Day 6 of dry weather, and perhaps I will 'hit the dirt' early.

Night all.

I'm okay w/DD arguing with a platform, examples and solutions. But, no whining, no "cuz I wanna"...she's good with that. Couldn't work it out, so she's home. She's happy...for now.

Poor baby, DD! :sneaky: and you, too! Slim's right...take care of you, too!

That is great that you are teaching her to think and come up with solutions, so many kids just can't think for themselves, it is sad!

...rethinking betrothal...

I did that as a kid...threw rocks at windows with my friends. (Before Atari came out) and we ended up breaking a huge window in the apt complex where we lived.

$$$$ for our parents!

So, in a sense, you're asking Lu - how much to pimp her bitches? :sneaky:

Yeah. I'm a "why girl" so if she can 'splain and convince me, so be it. I'm not big on rules around the house...do homework, clean room, etc...

Our biggest issue is her cleaning up after herself in the common areas. Her room is neat down to the spot and position of her iPod...but the living room? eh...who cares! Socks on the floor...half filled glasses of milk laying around...ugg...disaster.

RECIPE!!!! Or... are there leftovers? :sneaky:

I slice and roast the zucchini with a little olive oil and spices. Then add the roasted zucchini in the place of the noodles. I use my own homemade spaghetti sauce with hot Italian sausage plus smoked fontina cheese, mozzarella, provolone and Romano along with cottage or ricotta. Bake until everything is hot and bubbly. Just remember that the zucchini has a lot of liquid so do not use as much sauce as you normally would.

Sounds VERY yummy. I used to make a veggie lasagna with zucchini and yellow squash, but I didn't use them in place of the Pasta -- I used it as a layer inside.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
