Wow! I don’t believe my eyes! That guy finally got his act together?

I guess the next question is who is Steven Assanti, other than someone who looks like they came from central casting for the "serial killer" role?

Steven is a dude with some severe psychological issues and addiction problems...who is sort of infamous on My 600 pound life for being an incredibly awful patient.

This pic gives the impression that he's making some better choices.

Wow! This makes me so happy! He was such a mess on the show I thought for sure he was gonna die!

I have been a nurse for 10 years and patients like Steven Assanti are not that rare. His behaviors are the classic demands and manipulations of an addict. And when I say addict I am including all the people who feel justified taking way too many pain pills just because they found a doctor to prescribe them. The tantrums for narcotics are all the same.

Stephen is beyond an addict. There are other issues at play.

Bah, thankfully Dr. Now saw how much of a risk he was to himself. Did the surgery to save him from himself.

There was a video not too long ago where Steven was bragging that he acquired Fentanyl patches. Seems like he is up to is old shtick.
