I was sleeved on March 13,2018. Starting weight before pre op diet was 342. Surgery day weight was 330. As of today I am 325!! How do I get this weight loss to speed up??

As everyone else said— stalls suck and happen. I near lost my mind during mine [emoji51]

Hang in there— drink TONS of water and walk . It comes off and kicks in- promise

Didnt help! So what am I doing wrong? I did this before my surgery & here my body goes again! Im so very frustrated!

I thought the dietitian would have been a great source to help with the problem! I guess we just have to muscle through it! Smh

Yes all she did was give me a copy of a sample menu & told me to not eat more than a 1,000 cal per day! But I noticed this cute little small plate that was divided into 3 section. I asked her about it, first she told me she bought it from target & then told me that that plate can hold 1 cup of food which is what my entire meal should be for each sitting! that was a encouraging reminder so she did help a little![emoji4]

I hear there are expected stalls:

3 week stall

3-4 month stall

6 month stall

9 month stall

Maybe you are just in one of those stalls? I'd probably be tempted to go back to posting religiously and weighing and measuring to make sure I'm not eating more than I think. I also would try reducing cals by 10% and upping my protein portion of my day just to see if that helps. If it doesn't, then I'd maybe try the opposite! I'd try adding 100 more calories of protein to the day.

Sorry you're stalled. They SUCK so badly! ((hugs)) Congrats on your success!!!

Mine happened at 2.5 weeks. I was stuck at the same weight +/- a pound for 10 days. Almost lost my mind! Finally broke through yesterday and have lost 5lbs in 2 days.

Hey, I'm in the same situation as you. I had surgery on Feb 28 and my surgery day I was 212lb, I lost 12 lb in the first two weeks, but then I just lost two more lbs. It's quite disappointing when you're doing everything well, but probably this stalls happens with almost everybody. The thing is keep working hard :) Good look in your journey!!
