You have to go thru the stages your surgeon gave u and for how long they indicated. Clear liquid-full liquid-puree-mushi-normal food

I am 4 weeks almost 5 out and have a super strict NUT. She has me on full liquids at least until the 31st of this month.
I am going crazy seeing people say at 2 or 3 weeks they are on soft food.
This too shall pass.

I'd have lost my mind on liquids that long. I ate yogurt, cream of wheat, oatmeal and soup...on day 7. Day 14 ushered in an era of mashed potatoes, cottage cheese and other delights.

I am so grateful my group follows the new protocol. I could not have survived the old one.

Surgery was on 12/20 started liquids 2 days before that and been on them ever since. I strayed once and had an once of tuna because I could not take it anymore.
I am so sick of shakes I pretty much stopped drinking them and just living on water air and sunshine...lol
I am down 48lbs...31 since surgery...so trying to stay focused and motivated.
