Pre op weight gain

I have my preop on Tuesday and I have gained 5 lbs from the last time I was in, I wanted to get some last minute bad choices in before I get it done and now I’m paying for it, are they going to give me a hard time about it? Anyone else gain just before too? I get it done a week from now, the 22nd of January. I have t been told to go on a liquid diet yet though, will they most likely put me on one for the last week?

Mine is Monday, I’m kind of stressing a little, worried, but I’m assured by my doc I will be fine, I’m ready for this

My program will cancel anyone who gains any weight over a couple of pounds. They also have a 7 month wait. So for 7 months you have to watch what you eat to show you are serious. I've been in my program for 2.5 months and I am down 12lbs, but they also put me on saxenda to help assist me. Not gonna lie, I work out and try to eat better. It's hard though. If it was easy we wouldn't be here. Good luck to you!!

Just had my pre-op class this week, I had gained a couple of pounds. I did eat things I shouldn’t have during the holidays, but I am back on a routine. Surgery date is 2/7/18 and I am super excited,scared,emotional...... our program says that you can only be within a 5 lbs of your pre-op goal weight. I wish you all the luck in the world and think you will be fine just do better this week. Remember take it day by day.
