Products for excess skin after weight loss?

Starting to really have excess skin on my belly. Interested to see if anyone has great product recommendations. I am all ears for anything from creams to shape wear. Just wanting to see what all is out there.

Age and how long you have been overweight are factors if the skin has a bit of bounce back. Reality is excess skin is only going away by having plastics.

As for lotions....Sigh. slathering lotion on loose skin...Does nothing. (my opinion)

Shapewear: try several kinds until you find what works for you.

My plan is to grab either side and clothespin it behind my back. LOLOLOL

This is not a rant to the poster....Rant because I have too much free time on my hands

Lotions promising anti aging, Pills promising quick weight loss, and cheap exercise devises promising ripped bodys......Just make me pissy. *laughing*:71_smiling_imp:

Their website says Bio oil is for scars, stretch marks and skin tone (evens the color) It may help with what they are advertising it for...But I think it will do nothing for loose skin.

Yeah I agree... I was actually thinking about just the stretch marks thing. Brain cramp! [emoji44] [emoji74]

Body lotions with Vitamin E is also supposed to help with skin tightening and stretch marks / scars ?? I'm 3 weeks post op. Don't know if it will really work but I use lotion daily so figured it wouldn't hurt to get the vitamin E stuff in it ??

Ok, I was told about something and asked the surgeon and it was true at least for my surgeon... any of you get that rash under the belly (or breast, armpits, etc) I have had it a long time and was always told that it was from old c-sect scars but it’s actually a fungal thing that can become a major problem and I’ve just been lucky. I was told that everytime I get it now to go to regular doc and have it noted as when I’m at goal weight it is not considered cosmetic surgery but to keep from getting staff, even MRSA. And the surgeon will do a tummy tuck of sorts so there won’t be any drape to cause the rash... SCORE!!!! Just sayin..... other insurance or docs might be different... I do get it under th breast but don’t think I’ll be that lucky lol
