Has anyone had gastric bypass with Dr Wagner at St Francis in Memphis Tennessee? I got the approval from the insurance but still waiting on my patient advocate to call me for a date. Just need some advice

Still no call. It’s been a week since I got my approval. Also I had my EKG and blood work done already. Hopefully they don’t make me pay for that again

I don't know what the hold up is. I had to go to the outpatient area at St. Francis to do all of it. 3rd floor, I believe. They would not let me do it where I live in Mississippi. Hopefully it will not be an issue!

I really hope I hear something Monday. Otherwise I’m going to start calling. I understand she just came back from the holiday break so I’m sure she’s trying to catch up. However, the least u can do is call

I finally got a call back today. They are switching systems so she said she will call me back this week to set my appointment for me to meet the surgeon.

Yep my pre op got pushed back to February due to some new scheduling system but it kinda works out for me

That doesn’t really work for me because my bday is in February and then I graduate grad school a week after. I been waiting for this a long time so I got time to celebrate my birthday but I really want to walk across stage for graduation

I am using them too. My surgery date is the 16 of January. Dr. Weaver left the practice when her contract was over so it is just Dr. Wegner. I have Betty Coble as my patient advocate. I started my journey with a surgery consultation on March 15, 2017.

Wow!!! I had rny 3/8/17. I didn't know Dr. Weaver had left to the practice. I got a letter from Cigna in September saying she was no longer in my network, not that she had left the practice. I'm coming up on 1 year. I wonder what I'm supposed to do. Should I see Dr. Wegner or try to find Weaver? Oh, the dilemma.

That’s great news!!!! I’ve been waiting for weeks just to get a call back for a surgery date. I really hope someone calls me tomorrow. I have Dr Wegner as well.
