As of this week, I am obese! No longer morbidly obese.

I have lost the equivalent of my 5year old. (Lost the equivalent of my 2year old a while ago). Can sometimes shop in regular sizes. Not all the time yet, but only 3 months postop.

Next goal: weigh what is on my driver's license, then onederland!

OMGosh, I consider it an NSV that Texas doesn't list your weight on your driver's license!

I have a bit of an annoying NSV.

I keep getting my kids clothes mixed in with mine because now my oldest and I are wearing the same sized shirts and work out shorts and stuff...

I climbed 10 flights of stairs in 3 minutes without stopping. I did this twice! Afterwards I did interval training on the treadmill for 15 min with squats then 40 minutes on the weight loss interval training program level 10 for 40 min on the elliptical. :D

AND on the reverse Ohio lists your weight and height on fishing and hunting licenses, I was selling a guy a hunting license at Wal-Mart and he asked why? I said "IDK maybe so THET can identify, the body?" Just a little info on this lovely Tuesday morning!😛

I went shopping Saturday and bought a pair of size 20 jeans! Before starting this process, I was a solid size 28. Day of surgery I was a 24.

I remember holding up the size 20s and saying, “no way are these tiny things going to fit big old me!” But those suckers fit like a glove!

One month post op and I can’t wait for the NSVs to keep coming. 😄

Congrats!!! It's great and crazy all at once, isn't it?

Went shopping yesterday: I officially DO NOT wear plus sizes anymore!

A whole world of possibilities has opened up! It is exciting and overwhelming.

BYE Torrid, Lane Bryant, and the scary back corner of Macy's!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
