  3. Yes I do get hungry, but I still get sick if I eat alot. I can only eat kids size meals. I have to eat slowly still. Sugar drinks makes me very sick, but I can eat a little sugar treat but not much.
  4. Thank you very much, it's been a long journey

  15. Been almost 4 years since my surgery and I feel like I still dont get real hungry but my stomach does let me know to eat. Then when I do eat, I have to take it slow so I don't get sick.
  16. Had surgery August of 2017, have gained 11 lbs and still keeping it off! ( for the most part anyways..lol) I'm turning 50 years old in July and trying to stay fit has been kinda hard since covid. Anyone out there after a few years of post op? And how are you doing keeping weight off?

  29. Thank you very much, i really do appreciate it. I feel 20 years younger too!
  30. Honestly, no working out at all here. Just changed everything about how i eat, and making sure its healthy. I do go out to eat alot still, but i make healthy choices when i do. My husband is very happy for me, but he knows i adore him and i wouldnt trade him in for anything...lol i was lucky to have a husband who is very supportive and loving. This journey will change you completely, listen to your dr. and follow all the eating rules. It will suck at first, but it does get better and you will achieve your goals!
  31. Here is my before , my journey, and after one year pic. I was sleeved august 29th 2017, my hw was 277 in first pic. The second pic was 4 months later after surgery. I was 244 in August and in December i was 195lbs the third pic was taken april 2018 i was 165lbs, and last is a pic of my one year wls anniversary and i now weigh 149lbs. What a wonderful journey i took. Now im just beginning to maintain. I dont believe im going to lose more, im very happy where i am today. What do you think?
  32. Go Royals!!! Yeah, independence mo here. Jeaniered, you look absolutely AMAZING!!! You go girl!!!!
  33. My one year anniversary since surgery was yesterday, im happy to say i have lost 95lbs since surgery and 128lbs since my highest weight. Im alot more active, off most meds, sleep apnea totally gone. Im such a different person now, been back to work for 5 months now after being home for 7 years because of health reasons. What a brand new world out there! And most importantly, IM HAPPY? Posting pic of highest weight of 277lbs. And pic of me today at 149lbs.
  34. Thank you guys for the nice comments, much appreciated! The best advice i can give is definitely follow your eating plans and drink plenty of water. I also stay away from sugar as much as possible, i might have a belvita breakfast soft banana bread cookie for a snack once in a while or a package of fruit snacks. But i keep in mind never to eat more then 15g in one day. Lots of protein and vegetables to. If you like cauliflower and broccoli, i have found they are very filling.? Thank you all again, i have always gotten such wonderful support with bariatric pal!
  35. I bought a size med shirt! Cant even remember the last time i ever wore that size. My one year wls is August 29th??? HW:277 SW:244 CW:149
