Betty's Pictures

Recommended Posts

Thanks everyone for all the kind words.

We went riding that day, it was 74 degrees and beautiful. We stopped at a place and had lunch which was a big mistake! I ended up with food poisioning and was sick all night and all day yesterday. Hopefully today will be a better day.

Thanks again!

Betty, you gotta watch out for those biker bars, LOL.

My bike was lowered 2", then I ripped all the wires out of the underneath when I hit a road bump, so I had it raised an inch and got thicker boots. I also have a easy clutch on mine so I can pull the clutch in easier.

Yes, I had my bike lowered and had an easy pull clutch put on it also. I am a shortie! lol I special ordered my bags and seat and other fringe stuff so that my bike would look different than the hubbies. I also wanted it to look "girlie". Our bikes are just alike except for the bags/trim. He likes to add all the crome on his, and I like all the fringe on mine. He wants to take a picture of me going down the road, he was behind me Sunday when we went riding and he said "you should see all the fringe flying!" lol

Michelle - I am pretty sure it was food poisioning, I had the flu a few weeks ago, and it wasn't anything like that! I was a real sick puppy! I was feeling great until I ate, then all hell broke loose.

Paula - I didn't even get on the scale yesterday, I was just too sick. I go to the Doctor on Thursday so I will see then. I probably didn't lose anything, I usually don't. When I had the flu my hubby said how much weight did you lose, you didn't eat anything? Not much! Lately I have lost more inches than pounds I think!

Betty, I don't think it was the "fringe" your husband was noticing! It was your cute, smaller butt, girl! Now where are those pictures???

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
