I feel like I can eat too much

I’m 11 days post op and today I ate 1280 calories in soup and yogurt. I don’t get it. I don’t have problems eating too much or getting sick. I feel overly full sometimes like today but never enough to vomit or dump. I can drink water normally and never have had a problem with that... other people I know can only eat 2-4 ounces at a time... I hope this changes when I go to puréed and soft foods... otherwise idk why I did this surgery!!! I thought I’d be much more restricted than I am.

I've wondered if the ability to eat a lot is based on the tube size used in surgery. My surgery was in Mexico, so the smallest tube is used. I'm 17 days out, still zero hunger pain. I had an egg and avocado last night. 1/4 of avocado and 1/2 the egg was all I could consume and that took 20 mins. Drinking water is no problem. The shakes are because they just taste gross. My yogurt this morning was no problem, but it did take a while to finish.

I didn't think it matters as such the size of bougie as I don't think I have the smallest. But still at 3months half an egg is my limit. No accompaniment s like avocado. Only if I have egg whites I can add something l

I can easily eat two eggs at 6 weeks out. I don't understand why I can eat so much more. I am 6 foot 1
My doctor said my preop stomach was huge.
He had to do a lot of cutting.

At 6'1" your stomach was likely LONGER. The surgery only changes the diameter not length so that accounts for part of it.

Your a man though. I'm a small woman. So not surprising you can eat more than me. My response was for the lady above you.
