  1. I did a revision from VSG to RNY two years ago. I NEVER had GERD before.. but I have it now!!!! My throat feels swollen all the time. I have appt to get upper GI imaging, but I'm kind of freaking out in the meantime. I'm on pepcid and omeprazole and it's BARELY allowing me to eat/function normally.
  2. I never had GERD with the sleeve.. but I did have a revision from sleeve to RNY... and now I'm experiencing awful GERD. Glad to hear it's getting better for you!
  3. I can’t stop trying to find answers. I have experienced migraines for years, but approximately two years after my sleeve surgery I began experiencing intractable migraines and headaches. I have been seeking treatment for years, am in numerous meds, and get botox therapy... and it’s still a struggle. I recently had revision to RNY... but honestly these migraines started initially two years post op my sleeve. Has anyone else had this? They’ve greatly impacted my quality of life.
  4. My surgeon told me Vyvanse was fine to take. Check with your doc, but my psychiatrist told me Vyvanse (versus other stimulants) absorbs differently and can be opened.
  5. NO it sure isn't. If you'd like to connect: www.facebook.com/groups/revisionjourney

  10. I’m trying to rally round some more specific support for people that are Sleeve to RNY (either pre or post op RNY). Not sure the best way to do this. I did create a group.... anyone interested? It’s called “Revision Journey.” Anyone interested?

  14. Is it common after surgery? What are the complications/treatments?
  15. My doc suggested switch and i wish I had gone with that. I’m two years post sleeve and having to go back for bypass due to weight gain. :(
  16. Oh man Prozac made me suicidal. Med changes terrify me.
  17. How do I reply to someone’s message LOL?
  18. I can’t seem to reply. Lbtnew did you have a version of lexapro that was not extended release?
  19. I’m Sleeve to Bypass Revision. Anyone have severe anxiety disorder? I had a panic attack after my last surgery and it was a struggle to get my anxiety meds administered to me.... fast forward to now I have a fear of being hooked up to an IV and I’m worried about not being able to ask for my anxiety meds. Thx.
  20. I’m pre revision surgery to bypass. I have a question about post op. I’m kind of freaking out because I had some problems in the hospital with my sleeve getting my anti depressant meds. There was no extended release but finally they just let me open the capsule and take it. I’m wondering with bypass if I’m going to have more extreme and long term challenges because of absorption?!
  21. I wish I had bypass first time when my doc recommended it. I did Sleeve and now going back for bypass.
