Menu Plans - Care to Share?

Hello Everyone!

I had a thought today, at work, staring at the computer. Imagine that??? I think we all need some variety from time to time and with only being allowed a specific amount of calories, it's hard to come up with ideas to keep meals interesting and not boring....and also simple, portable, etc.

Would you be interested in sharing your menu plans? Would love to know your thoughts on this. Does anyone feel this would help them?

We could list our Calorie Count (the one set by your doc or Dietitian), total calories for each item, or meal, or total for the day. Any other ideas would be great!!! Whatdya think?! Would this be helpful?

Actually, I found that baby foods, stage 2, worked well. Gerber's are natural and have no additives or extra sugar. They came in handy for lunch when I went back to work. My favorite was squash.

Shaz, when you get to mushies, you can eat anything that can be blended well. Whatever your family is having, blend and enjoy. Of course, try to choose wisely. Those first bites are heavenly!

Nancy, if you have a Wawa's near you, they make the best egg, chicken and tuna salads. I buy it by the pound and then have with crackers.

I like chili for a filling soup, lots of fiber too.

My doctor suggested Tuna with real mayo. I haven't attempted rice yet, kind of wasted calories to me, although Sushi is sounding real good. My favorite is probably mashed taters with a little grated cheese and fat free sour cream.

Good Luck

PS, that was quite an interesting website Nana~, except I don't do cottage cheese. Boiled tuna?
