i was banded on the 4th too, but my problem is the opposite! i just go and go...

sorry i cant be of help. and if anyone has any suggestions for me?? not to hijack your post....sorry!

I was banded on Oct 4th as well and finally had some relief from the same problem you're experiencing just yesterday... when I asked my surgeon about it on the 9th, he told me to drink plenty of water and also it was OK to take Metamucil in water (lots of water) to help get things moving. I hope you feel better soon!

I was having sorta that trouble but not for as many days and I read a post on here to drink Gerber's baby prune/pear juice. It comes in small 8 oz bottles and actually doesn't taste bad....anyway it worked for me after the first bottle....

citracel is a better choice than metamucel because we have to drink slowly and citracel doesn't get thick!! comes either flavored or unflavored and sugar free....this will be an ongoing problem....I have been banded for 15 month and down 113#....not one moment goes by that I dont think of getting "stuck" somewhere along the line LOL :Banane30:!!!

I was banded on the 3rd and I totally was backed up! I used Milk of Magnesia on the advise of fellow bandsters. I TOTALLY worked! I was good because it did not cause CRAMPING or any stomach discomfort during the "act". I will never use anything else again. It did take two doses because I was so backed up.

Thanks so much, have managed to get un blocked and my stomach is deflating lol.

Flying to Spain this evening with 30 friends so now won't look like the pregnant mother.

Thanks loads for the advice not there's not much help in the UK for fellow bandsters.

Hope you all have a good week-ends

:clap2:
