Hi Lillie Lou I'm not a doctor so I don't want to give false info but my doctor told me once I felt ready for the full liquids I could move on. My full liquid phase starts Tuesday. So I am slowly starting to incorporate some of the new things I can have such as non fat vanilla Greek yogurt and it was delicious. My husband and I will start making Soup purées with our ninja tomorrow and then Tuesday I start the full liquid portion. I'm also extremely excited for sugar free pudding!!!!!!!!

The Ninja is awesome! I made organic pinto bean and black bean puree and used onions, bell peppers, and some lean ground turkey and it is SOOO GOOD. The ninja makes it super smooth and easy to swallow. I bought 2 ounce and 4 ounce portion cups as well. I am currently getting full off of the 2 ounce cups and drink my Protein Shakes for a snack.

A high fever sounds like more than just needing Water. That's indicative of infection. How are your incisions?

Also Joann I am not a doctor but my surgeon told me if I got a fever to call him immediately or to go to the ER. Usually it means infection. So I would call your doc or on call doc!

Hi! I'm four days post op and struggling with how bored I am I try to get up to do things like walk or shower and maybe a few dishes and slowly put laundry away....but I have no energy because my clear liquid diet consist of Water , Soup broth and sf popsicle, I can have sf Jello but I can't eat more then a few bites, so I am getting very little Protein, thankfully my full liquid diet starts Tuesday and hopefully drain and staples out Wednesday! I'm looking forward to a Protein Shake for some energy!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
