Sleeved yesterday I have a mild fever

Hi everyone,

I was sleeved yesterday and as soon as I got home I developed a fever of 100.4

My doctor says to monitor but call him back if it's continued over the night. I'm freaking out

When I left the hospital they warned me that I might get a mild fever as my body adjust to the huge change. Keep monitoring, as your Dr. suggested. If it gets to 102, I'd head to the hospital.

Hope you feel better soon!

Other than fever. How you feeling?

A low-grade fever is a normal part of post-surgical healing.

During the healing process after surgery, your body increases its metabolic processes to speed up repairs. A low-grade fever is a sign of an increased metabolism.

A low-grade fever is also protective against infection to a certain extent because most microbes do not thrive in higher-than-normal body temperatures.
