I had a six month mandatory wait for insurance. During that time I met with the surgeon twice. Once at the beginning to go over surgery options and all that and again two weeks before surgery. Other day than that I just saw the nutritionist.

I've seen my Nut twice and been given the ok from the psychologist and have a date (7th July) to see the surgeon. About how long will I wait for a surgery date?

I could have written the same thing as Debi

Mine was almost 90 days exactly. It depends on your insurance requirements and your surgeons schedule, but mine went very quickly. 3 NUT/exercise appts, 1 psych eval, 2 surgeon visits and bam! That was it. The 90 days went by fast.

First appointment was February 3rd and I had surgery on March 16th. I was a cash patient.

my first visit with the office was June 2nd. had surgery June 28th.

self pay obviously.
