So I went In for my surgery this morning as happy as a clam and nervous all at the same time. Next thing I know I'm in recovery feeling terrible. Dr comes in to tell I could not have RNY as I had to much scar tissue. He did repair a hernia for, which I did not know I had. Feeling very down and disappointed, frustrated and a ton of other emotions. Dr said he can do a sleeve in 2 months. I don't know if I can do this again. Feeling depressed. I'm stilled gutted and been on a Bing, trying to pull myself together. I rang the surgeons office this morning to see if they could give me a date for the sleeve. I need something to hold on to. 48 hours out ladies and gentlemen, we have got this. It feels so surreal, I keep running around trying to organize as much as possible so I nearly have Christmas sorted. I'm trying to take as much stress out of the holidays as possible. Anyone else ? Wishing you all the very best of luck on your last day of this hellish diet, I've not cheated once, I'm incredibly proud of myself and I've been sorely tempted more than once. I have 5 protein shakes a day, I'm allowed 1 fruit, 1 cup of veg. All the sugar free jello I can stomach and sugar free popsicles. The headaches have been brutal and the sleeplessness is dreadful. It's doable as of Monday strictly liquids I have to stop all vitamins. A week tomorrow it will be low sodium chicken broth, Jello green or yellow, I've pops and water.
