I DON'T want to eat!

Is it normal at 16 days post op (sleeve) to just NOT want to eat? If I do eat something, I stop the second I feel ANYTHING change in my stomach, but 5 minutes later, the nausea starts. It lasts 15-20 min then goes away. I'm worried because I'm NOT getting much protein in and my dr said he doesn't care if I don't eat, as long as I'm drinking. (NO protein shakes) did tbis happen to anyone else? When/will it go away?????

No protein shakes ...that's odd??

Yes it's pretty normal for a lot of us. That's why most doctors recommend the use of protein shakes.

I'm sorry you're not feeling well. Since you're now post-surgery, you'll find better answers in the post-surgery forum rather than this pre-surgery forum. Good luck!
