Anyone sleeve the week of 6/25?

Recommended Posts

I move to mushy food on the 13th. If the surgeon moves me on. I can''t wait. School starts the 30th of July and I need practice with mushiness.

Had my procedure on the 27th. Down 20 lbs so far. Puked a few times from eating too much. For semi solid food, 3 to 4 teaspoons makes me feel full.

I was the 27th as well. Down 19lbs since surgery. I'm still on full liquids a few more days so just Soups and fudgecicles. Can do about 3-3.5 oz at a time and the last couple days I notice my Water intake is better. I also noticed I'm actually feeling hungry and craving things the last few days which is freaking me out a bit. [emoji32] overall feeling a lot better than last week. Few more days then back to work. Is semi solid food puréed stage? That's what I start in two days.

Everyone is doing well. That's awesome. Letgojo, are you using a good scale? Also are you having bowel movements?

My scale is fantastic - but actually I am happy now - I don't get on it- I worked out it doesn't matter - my mental health feels really stable knowing I have embarked on this journey and what I am doing can only lead to weight loss - no matter how slow,

How's everyone's food stage going? I just got to puréed today. So far did puréed tune with a little mayo and made a ricotta bake. Both gave me some gass and had to eat very slow but so far okay.

I started puree Tuesday so yesterday for me here in Australia I found I got full really quickly

I am on thicker Soups - made one with leeks, spring onions, edamame Beans and gammon - got two medium bowls down and later managed quick a large drink.

It's going to take time

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
