Dental Impact

Have you ever experienced any dental issues that began post-surgery? I feel like my teeth/gums have become more sensitive, but it may just be in my head.

How far out from surgery are you? I just went to the dentist today and he didn't mention any changes. I'm five weeks out. Too soon maybe?

I can see dental issues arising with severe reflux..

Beyond that, likely imagination, or would be from not taking care of teeth by default.

This is it... My dentist told me that she sees bariatric patients come in as a result of GERD causing sensitivity issues. She put me on a medicated toothpaste (for sensitive teeth) because I have a sensitive tooth. I am pre-op and just had my 4/6 weigh-in. She said, if I start it now, if I have GERD issues, it will be unlikely to have any issues with my teeth.
