Thanks, I'm glad you're feeling better.
I'm just excited to get it done and want the date here already.
I'm doing all of the pre op clearance visits over the next 2 weeks and I'm praying that none of the results delays the surgery date.
In case you haven't noticed I'm a bit of an anxious person.
Good luck on your journey, I can't wait to be in your shoes. [emoji847]

Nice!!! Good luck to you!!! Who's doing your surgery? Where? Please keep us posted! I'm doing well, taking it one day at a time. I'm in my pureed stage right now, looking forward to starting my soft food stage next week.

Dr. Chau in Princeton. I'm really on edge about starting the pre-op liquid diet tomorrow.

South Jersey here. I'm waiting to be discharged. Had my sleeve yesterday. I have zero pain. Not taking anything but tylenol. I've asked if the pain is waiting til i get home. They say if it was going to it would've happened. I did everything they told me. The liquids were ok. The broth from wonton Soup helped. Don't watch food commercials! Lol

Congratulations! I was sleeved July 12. Three weeks today. I've done really well. Controlling my head more than anything. Miss a cup of tea with a cookie. Rye toast with eggs. But I coach myself through those moments. I got through a lot of the liquids requirements with the broth from the wonton Soup atTokyo Mandarin! So good! Take care of yourself. I found I ran out of energy for longer than I expected. Keep in touch.

Ajpk...

hows the full liquids? Every time I advanced to the next stage of food I thought "Just in time before I lost my mind!"

How are you doing? Hope you're doing great!

Full Liquids are delicious! I had to make sure that I didn't try to eat it all at once! LoL! I almost over did it though but recognized another spoonful would have not been pretty.

So far so good. No problems so far except it's hard to keep up on all my other liquids. Still don't want to get dehydrated.

How are you making out ?

All liquids count. Not just Water and Protein. So I imagine you're doing good. When can you have sf pudding? I bought French vanilla protein in Trader Joe's.I'm a recovering late night bowl of ice cream person. But now I take the pudding. Put it in a nice bowl. Mix in a scoop...20 grams!...of protein and enjoy! I don't eat/drink anything out of a plastic container! Time to use my better dishes and glasses and pretend it's all gourmet! LOL

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
