  5. All liquids count. Not just water and protein. So I imagine you're doing good. When can you have sf pudding? I bought French vanilla protein in Trader Joe's.I'm a recovering late night bowl of ice cream person. But now I take the pudding. Put it in a nice bowl. Mix in a scoop...20 grams!...of protein and enjoy! I don't eat/drink anything out of a plastic container! Time to use my better dishes and glasses and pretend it's all gourmet! LOL
  6. Ajpk... hows the full liquids? Every time I advanced to the next stage of food I thought "Just in time before I lost my mind!" How are you doing? Hope you're doing great!

  11. I'm heading out to grocery today and I'll look or give this a try. Great site though! I'm so sick of sf popsicles with their ton of artificial coloring and there's a recipe for sf lemonade blueberry popsicles on this site that I'm going to try!

  14. I love having extra in the refig for when i need to eat. 30 seconds in microwave to take the chill off and its ready! Next I'm going to do bbq turkey meatballs. Any suggestions on how to cut down on the sugar in bbq sauce? Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app

  16. I just did this. I put boneless chicken in with a mix of spagetti sauce, diced tomatoes, a few spices and shortened the cooking time to keep it from being too dry. Served my daughter's with angel hair. And i broke off a small piece of chicken for me. It was great. Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app
  17. Congratulations! I was sleeved July 12. Three weeks today. I've done really well. Controlling my head more than anything. Miss a cup of tea with a cookie. Rye toast with eggs. But I coach myself through those moments. I got through a lot of the liquids requirements with the broth from the wonton soup atTokyo Mandarin! So good! Take care of yourself. I found I ran out of energy for longer than I expected. Keep in touch.

  20. I'm 8 days out and i feel like me. No depression. I think my doctor made it clear what to expect. I understood there's no magic wand. I went for check up after 6 days. And they warned me to remember that I just had major surgery. Because other than some tiredness I'm feeling really great. And they don't want me doing more than I should. 22. I had a "moment or two" before surgery where I wondered to myself "Are you absolutely crazy?" But I didn't dwell on it for long. I knew I had read all I could. Had great confidence in my doctor, his team, and my hospital. I'm one week post surgery. Lost 20 lbs. No pain meds because I didn't need them. Who knew I would be looking forward to puréed foods?! Feel myself; not some altered version. Think about the positives that got you here and where you're headed. Trust your team. Trust yourself. Good luck!

  25. I was told no oatmeal ever. My dietician asked if I've seen oatmeal left in a sink and how it soaks up the liquid and bloats. He said that's what happens in your stomach. And there's better choices. Unfortunately I hate cream of wheat. Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app

  27. Good luck! You'll be fine! Keep positive thoughts. I am excited. I did exactly what i was told. Changed my routine as much as i could so i wasn't sitting around. When do you start liquids? Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app
  28. South Jersey here. I'm waiting to be discharged. Had my sleeve yesterday. I have zero pain. Not taking anything but tylenol. I've asked if the pain is waiting til i get home. They say if it was going to it would've happened. I did everything they told me. The liquids were ok. The broth from wonton soup helped. Don't watch food commercials! Lol Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app
  29. Thanks. I wasn't aware. And now read the reports. Not sure about so many things written about different proteins. But what else is there that's tasteless? Not just no flavor added. I finished liquids and sleeved tomorrow. Ready to go! Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app
