Looking for a buddy... I'm pre-op for the sleeve, due to get it done in September. Anybody? There doesn't seem to be a NJ Sleeve Support group :(

    First I was getting a little discouraged because of the clear liquids, but now that I'm on full liquids, I feel like there is hope. I'm experimenting with a lot of soups, I feel like the best thing is variety. You do get tired of drinking broth, and tea. Another thing that is my saving grace are the sugar free popsicle sticks. I'm actually looking forward to purée diet next week. It is very challenging to get the protein that you need, because I think that is essential for energy. And multivitamins are important.
