Did anyone take their child to Mexico?

My sitter flaked on me. :( So I have a friend flying in from Chicago to go with me to Dr Ilan, but I'm thinking I may have to bring my toddler too for her to watch him and look after me in Mexico. Anyone heard of anything like this?

That'll be okay, as long as the baby doesn't crawl all over you . I went alone, so it shouldn't matter if your friend is babbysitting. You'll be able to do everything for yourself. Have the permission from the child's father to cross with his child etc etc.

It could work. The best plan would be to have them at the hotel while you are in the hospital. Recuperating in the small hospital room with a toddler would be a nightmare.

Talk with your coordinator about whether they could stay in the hotel and have the valet take them around for the 2-3 days you are hospitalized. Then you join them upon discharge.
