I've had surgery six days ago last Wednesday and I sleeved. I've lost a total of 21 pounds since last Wednesday but I have not lost anything the past two days is this normal I know it's not what the scale always says I do feel good and great but I must say feel bit discouraged it has this happened to anyone

Great loss. But I'd encourage you to stay away from the scale. This is your journey, not to be compared to any one else's. Your body is healing, there will be ups and downs. So even if the scale number didn't move, I can almost guarantee your body measurements are moving. ? Take care and keep us posted!

The nausea is the worse for me. They gave me a cocktail of meds this morning. I'm feeling a tad bit better. I couldn't even look at the liquid Breakfast they sent me. Nurse says most patients don't bother. Lol

my throat did hurt a little. Ice chips seemed to help with it, although it was painful in the stomach.

Yes the nausea was the worst. Mine seems to have passed for now. I am still dealing with the gas though. I don't feel hungry at all and I am nervous about drinking anything later. Have you had your leak test yet? I am getting mine soon.

We are having the same symptoms. I'm ok now. Although I have decided to try and drink a little more and it's getting better. The surgeon does the leak test I guess right after the operation, so that's been taken care of.

i will be getting up to walk a bit more soon though. I'm sure that will expel some more gas. I haven't had the toots, just the burps.

I had chicken broth and it was yummy. Sipped it very slowly. Then I decided it was time to walk again. Feeling way better than this morning. I just might be going home this evening. Sitting down on the recliner for now, having ice chips. Nurse took me off the iv, so it's up to me to not get dehydrated now.

I passed my leak test so they brought me broth, jello, water, and juice. I had a few sips of broth and two small bites of jello. It seems to have settled well but I got hiccups lol. That felt weird. I have been burping too!! I prefer that to tooting lol.

I think we are all doing pretty well considering. I walked three times today and had a shower also. I am ready for a nap now. Take care fellow sleevers.

I've opted to stay one more night. I don't think I want to handle my little ones just yet. ?

That sounded like a good idea. I hope you have had a good night.

I am doing ok tonight. I am trying hard to get more fluids down because my blood sugar dropped to 49 tonight. I am very hopeful that I will be off my diabetes medicine for good. I have not felt hungry at all so I need to force myself to drink.

i hope everyone else is doing well.

I had really bad nausea, especially during my leak test been home a few hours now and vomited 1 time tried isopure and that was a no go so it's been water got my zofran and pain meds in so hopefully I can get some broth down soon. Omg though the gas pain is horrible, I got burps hiccups and an occasional toot but nothing to write home about wish it was I'd probably feel better. And to top it off I stated my period morning of surgery yeah me! Can't get warm but I'm working on it. I'm determined to get well I'm moving around and walking the house a little to keep the momentum going. Keep at it all. Check in with y'all tomorrow rest up

I will if this round of nurses would shut off the lights like last night's did. Lol. Smh. I even questioned it in a nice way.

So, besides the lights being on, I'm doing well. I can drink my water with no problems now. I'm having what feels like contractions. It's really weird, painful too. Comes in waves. If it keeps up, I'll be buzzing the nurse. Anyone else with "contractions"? Don't know what they'd be called....
