HELLO restriction!

I'm loving this. After my 2nd fill, I had good restriction for a few days, but it faded. I just got my 3rd fill (to 2.2 ccs) yesterday, and I can tell a major difference. I'm hoping that I'll keep this restriction. :bounce:

Take it easy, life changes with good restriction. A little swelling with GOOD restriction can be verrrry bad.

But I'm thrilled for you that you have the restriction you want!

Yep, I've been taking it easy. I'm supposed to be eating only pureed-texture foods until tomorrow afternoon. But it's amazing how much less hunger I've had and how quickly I get full. Plus, I finally learned why sipping is required. With my other fills, I could drink relatively normally, but with this one, I have to sip.

I think I may also have good restriction now.:whoo: I got my 3rd fill on the 3rd which took me up to 9 in a VG band. I thought it was only 8 but thats another story. I have been on liquids for the last 2 days and I also can feel the difference and need to sip now instead of drink. I can feel the water bubble down and it gives me a burping sensation. Im going to try soft foods today to see how that goes. I so hope that this is it because Im starting to run out of room. I can only get 2 more in my band. I seen a new dr this time (part of long story) and he didnt want to feel me that much because he thought I would have problems but so far so good. I know its bad but to some extinct I wish I would pb or slime, at least I would know that I have restriction.

It's when you get something stuck and your body produces a very thick, slimy liquid to try and lube things up so that the food will slip through.

I had my first fill thursday 1.5 cc's.

I am tighter than a virgin!

I can start soft foods today and I tried cottage cheese and it hurt going down.

HATED IT!

PROTEIN SHAKE FOR ME!

Is this normal?

I just got my second fill and i have great restriction. I am at 2cc in a 4 cc band. I have pbed two or three times so i know i need to slow down. I still eat way to fast. I have lost three pounds this week and am real happy with that. Donna

It is if you ate first thing in the AM. Many can't eat solids until around noon or so.

Hey wasa!

Yes it was in the morning.

Man I thought I had restriction pre-fill.

YEAH RIGHT!

This is some serious restriction!

Why in the morning am I so tight?

Most feel it is due to a fluid shift in your body and it makes sense to me. If I am really tight in the morning and go run for about 10-15 minutes, everything opens right up. Gravity messes with fluids and when you've been sleeping all night fluids settle. When you are up and moving things improve.
