I made a bad mistake [emoji17]

I really over indulged today and feel so horrible about it! I ate a snickers ice cream bar and Choco taco today [emoji17] I'm so upset with myself and was hoping to see if anyone else has done anything like this? Please kind words only, I already feel terrible about this!

Take the emotions you're feeling and put them to use by building up your resolve to improve your eating habits. What stage are you in? Under your name it says pre op, but how close to surgery are you? If you're on a strict pre op diet and having surgery within the next few days you might want to discuss this with your surgeon's office. Otherwise I'd just move forward. If you have to follow a liquid diet or something, then finding recipes for more enjoyable protein shakes might help to lessen the temptation to indulge in sweet desserts. The blog The World According to Eggface has some great recipes, and you can find a lot on Pinterest, too.

By the way, you look beautiful in your picture! Feel positive about yourself, and forgive yourself for your mistakes.

Thank you :) I forgot to change it to post op. I'm post op 9 weeks and have lost 34lbs but really just feeling down about this tonight! I will take your advise and try to focus my frustration on the weight loss and make sure i don't have access to these bad foods the best I can! I appreciate your kind words!

90% on plan, 10% off. Get a calendar and schedule a couple treats a month. Plan, look forward to, and enjoy! This is training for the rest of your life. Choco tacos happen! Embrace them as the occasional treat.
