Not snoring on a plane when I fall asleep.
Being able to go to the pool with my daughter without a shirt.
Never again hearing "What's up Big D."

My list goes on and on. Being able to wear old clothes and my wedding ring to start. Going up the stairs and not being in pain. Running around with my grandkids. Not dreading going somewhere and running into an old friend and seeing the look on their face when they see you. Most of all my health. I just want to be here for a long time living a very healthy life.

I went To the fair with my son last weekend and so my first goal is to be able to fit on a ride with him it was embarrassing trying to get on a ride with him and they tell me I don't fit and had to get off which he had to 2 because it was only double Riders no single Riders

Not wanting to hide from family I haven't seen in awhile! I live states away from most family and every time I see them, I feel the need to pre-warn them before they arrive that I'm fat. I have a very vocal family and they like to mention things I already know. I can't wait to WANT to visit family and not try to hide behind my husband or tables!

Painting my toe nails!!!
Wearing shorts.
Wearing overalls! (Sounds crazy but I've always wanted to wear bibs... but I can't pull off the look heavy).
Getting off my medication.
Having a chance to start a family.

Omg overalls!!! My husband ADORED how I looked in overalls (when I was 13 to 15 before I got big). He's expressed missing it and wanting me to get another pair, but not only do they not make sizes big enough for me, but I know it will look horrible on my current body shape and would just be a disappointment for him.

I'm looking forward to taking a real family photo where I'm not holding my kids up in front of me like little hostages, trying to hide my fat. I'm also looking forward to not being hung up on if people will like me or not because of my size.....I can't imagine what either one of those things will feel like.

I'm a month post-op and I've been really enjoying the clothes so far! Can't wait to have even more choices!

My longer term "looking forward to it" goal is to join my husband's company soccer team. It seems like a lot of fun but I need to get into pretty decent shape to do that kind of running! I'm planning on doing Couch to 5K to prepare.

I'm crossing my fingers and toes that my sleep apnea will get better and I won't need a CPAP anymore. That alone would make the surgery worth it, but also looking forward to clothes like so many of us -- and shoes! I hear it's common for feet to "shrink" because they're not being pushed to the limit. I've always had wide feet but the past few years, definitely feel they've gotten even wider.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
