I was wondering this myself. It's thicker than pudding, so best to wait for soft food I think.

It's also very high in vitamin A.

Fats aren't an enemy.

I've eaten it and I'm purée. I take tiny bites and haven't had an issue. I do 1 oz and 1 oz hummus.

2 oz have 150% dv of vit A! That's amazing!

My nut told me no prior to surgery. Only lean meats. A 1/4 cup is 5 grams sat fat. Maybe chicken liver would be a good alternative with only 0.6. But I guess you have to live a little somewhere.

I haven't asked yet. It might be an item for later, I know most NUTs are on the lowfat bandwagon, esp saturated fat.

There are other scientists that refute that fat intake thing though.
