What phase are you wanting info about? Clear liquids, puree, or soft foods?

Height: 5'0"
Weight for WLS consultation: 216 lbs.
Surgery date: 2/13/17
Goal: -71 lbs for healthy BMI (about 145 lbs).
Current weight: 180.8
My profile picture is not me. It's my "FITspiration" body.

Hi Chrissy, I am just over 6 weeks since surgery.

My daily menu options has been selections like this (4 oz intake total)

Breakfast options -
~6 tbs egg beaters
~2 hard boiled eggs (no yolks)
~Dannon light & Fit Greek yogurt (toasted coconut or cheesecake flavor)
~isopure chocolate shake made with 4 oz FairLife milk.

Snack 1 & 2 continue to be the premier protein shakes.

Lunch 4 oz total:
~2 oz grilled chicken & no fat cottage cheese
~chicken or tuna salad w/ light mayo or low fat ranch
~1 cheesehead light mozzarella stick, split in two then rolled up in 2 lean Turkey deli meat w/ low fat cottage cheese or 3 Parmesan chips
~1 Butterball turkey burger
~ chicken crust pizza w/ low fat mozzarella cheese (I add a few crumbles of feta or blue for a little more flavor), low fat ranch dressing as the sauce.

Dinner:
~c.worthy brand salmon filets ( these are delicious and already seasoned)
~grilled tuna
~baked halibut, tilapia or trout
~grilled shrimp

I continue to look look for new healthy options, and would love to hear other ideas as well. Good luck!

I will be 6 months post-op on Tuesday. I eat 7 times per day, about 2 hours apart. And I eat the same thing every day.

Meal #1: 1 scrambled egg with 1/2 piece of American cheese and 2 oz of chicken or pork loin (scrambled in the egg)

Meal #2: 4 oz cottage cheese with 1 T sugar-free strawberry preserves

Meal #3: 2 oz salmon or chicken, 1 string cheese, 10 ParmCrisps

Meal #4: 3 oz chicken, 1 oz green Beans, 5 ParmCrisps

Meal #5: 2 oz hamburger steak (90% lean), 1 oz green beans, 5 ParmCrisps

Meal #6: 3 oz salmon, 1 oz green beans, 5 ParmCrisps

Meal #7: 4 oz cottage cheese with 1 T sugar-free strawberry preserves

I drink 32 oz of Water after Meal #1 and Meal #2, 16 os of water after Meal #3, Meal #6, and Meal #7. I always allow 30 minutes after eating before I drink and at least 30 minutes after drinking before I eat again. (It is almost never time to eat again 30 minutes after finishing the water, so that is never an issue.)

This comes out to 1000-1100 calories, 20 carbs, and 110-130 grams of Protein depending on the day. The only time I ever have to have Protein shakes is if I am traveling for work. And even then, I usually only have to have 1 since I can't drag food around with me everywhere I go.

Good luck!

Thanks for all the input! I will follow what you guys are doing once I'm in 6 weeks. I am just in week 2 at the moment.

Today my focus is to get in 60 grams of protein and very very low sugars.

Breakfast: Protein shake 150 calories, 22 g protein and 7 g carbs (2.5g of which are sugar)
Lunch: Ricotta Bake pureed 200 cals (9g carbs, 15g protein)
Dinner: Protein Shake 150 calories, 22 g protein and 7 g carbs (2.5g of which are sugar)

Fingers crossed this is good for me!

I was sleeved 2 days after you. I've been having:

Breakfast: 6oz shake (18gm protein)

Snack: 6oz shake (18 gm protein)

Lunch: 8oz cream soup of some sort

Snack: 5oz total greek yogurt thinned with almond milk (8-11 gm protein)

Dinner: 8oz cream soup

Snack: 6oz shake (18 gm protein)

And sipping 48 oz of water throughout the day. Sometimes I splurge and have a popsicle or a little bit of kefir.

Hi thanks for the reply, what sort of protein shake are you drinking?

I use Kaizen Naturals protein powder from Costco. 1 scoop is 36 gm protein and I mix that with 12 oz almond milk. I can't drink the whole thing at once yet, so I split them in half. :)

My carbs tend to be a bit high around 50-60g... A lot is from the soups. Looking forward to moving on to purees when there are more protein dense options for meals like eggs, tuna, cottage cheese, etc.
