I am new to this website and looking for any support I can get in the Fredericksburg, VA area. I have lived here off and off but always working as a social worker so not a lot of free time for friends. My co-workers are great and have really had my back. I have a partner who is supportive when he is home. But, he works in transportation and is on the road quite a bit. So, it would be nice to have some people in the area who are going through this as well.

I'm in Sterling, Virginia. Not exactly next to Fredericksburg but not too far. I'm getting sleeved in June.

I know Sterling pretty well. I've worked all over VA. That's so exciting. Who are you using for your surgery? I got to Dr. Fitzer in Reston.

I started with Dr. Marino in Reston, but my insurance changed and I had to start the whole process over as a self-pay. Now I'm going to Dr. Ortiz in Mexico because it's about 1/3 the cost of paying for it here. Where are you in the process?
