Surgery is a week away and I'm getting over a cold...

Are they gonna cancel my surgery????? I don't have a fever anymore! I haven't had one for like 4 days, I'm just still kinda congested and stuffy that's it. Is that enough for them to cancel my surgery?? I'm so scared )):

It shouldnt be, ive seen many people throughout the mo.ths post the same thimg and their surgeries still went forward as planned

Maybe try some menthol chrystals in hot water to clear the nose (or Vick's vaporub) only reason they would cancel is if breathing was a concern

I think you'll be fine. I'm currently getting over the flu and had a pre-op meeting with my surgeon this week. He said he doesn't see my surgery getting cancelled as long as I don't have any issues breathing. He wasn't concerned at all. You should be just fine. Best of luck!

I had a cold when I had my surgery. I too was worried they would cancel it, but they didn't. Everything was fine, you shouldn't worry.
